Have you been cut off by an adult child?
If you're a parent who is estranged from your adult child, you're not alone. Cut Off – What Now?™ is a 2 hour online workshop for parents who are experiencing confusion, grief and frustration and are unsure what to do next.
Cut Off – What Now?™
When contact with a child ends, many parents are left with confusion, sadness, frustration, and questions that don't have easy answers. Cut Off – What Now?™ is a two-hour online workshop for parents who feel stuck, hurt, or overwhelmed, and want to make sense of what happened. It covers what estrangement can look like, why it often comes as a shock, and where to go from here. The workshop is practical and focused on helping you understand what's happened and what to do next.
In Cut Off – What Now?™ we explore:
- How values, family roles, and expectations can create tension
- What gets in the way of effective communication and what can help
- Tools to help you organise your thoughts and manage strong emotions
- How to focus on what's in your control, and let go of what's not
- What to think about and how to respond if reconciliation becomes a possibility
- What it's like being around other parents who are going through estrangement too
